THE CREATOR

” All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it ” (John 1:3-5 ESV)
From John 1:1-2 and Philippians 2:6-7 it is clear that Jesus was with the Father partaking the divine glory and He came down into this world in the form of servant in the likeness of man relinquishing the glory that He had with the Father.
John continues to write that all things were made through Him and without Him was nothing made. He is the creator of everything and in Him is the life, and the life is the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Answering a question from Thomas, Jesus said to him” I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, ou would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him. ” (John 14:6-7 ESV).
God brought into existence everything from nothing by His word and He was capable of creating everything in perfection. Whatever He created, it was as it was created was perfect, and as He said it was” good”. All that came into existence was, as he said in His own words, it was” good”.
There was no light and when the LORD said” Let there be light” there was light, and if His word is true, then there should be hypothetical questions raised as to how it came about.
God’s word is absolutely true, and it contains truth and nothing else but the truth. His word is inerrant. The earth was without form and void when it was created and it was as it was that is” without form and void”, created as such for man to live upon it, and was perfect in the sight of the LORD.
Any proposition that Satan has upset God’s creation is an assumption casting aspersions on the ability of God and undermining the authority of God.
SATAN WAS THROWN OUT

Satan was thrown out from before the presence of the LORD God and his eminence as the chief of angels was lost instantly. Satan in his fallen status could do nothing to upset God’s creation. If he had the capability upset God’s creation, after he fell from his eminence, as the chief of the angelic host created by God, then he would have fought to stay, in his position before he was thrown out.
There is no such statement made in the scriptures that Satan had upset God’s creation; nor is there a verse to show that God intended to create a huge mass of ice cube as an earth for man to ski upon.
There was no light upon the face of the earth before it was created and when it was created God saw that the light was good, and the darkness could not overcome it. God separated the light from the darkness, and He called the light” Day” and the darkness as” Night”. Light and darkness can never live together.
When the light shines the darkness is gone, and if the light is turned off the darkness appears. God did not create darkness, but the darkness was on the face of the earth in the beginning.
One of the ten plagues that God inflicted in the land of Egypt was darkness when Moses, His servant, stretched out his hand, according to the command from the LORD, toward the heaven that there may be darkness upon the land of Egypt and the intensity of which could be severely felt.
” And the LORD said unto Moses, stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt\” (Exodus 10:21)
Darkness was a plague, and it was brought upon Egypt as punishment by God upon Pharaoh and his people in order that Pharaoh may repent and release the children of Israel from the bondage of slavery.
Pharaoh consented to release the children of Israel from the bondage of slavery\; however, when God restored light Pharaoh went back on his word and refused to release the children of Israel.
The refusal lasted until God inflicted upon them the severest plague, which was tenth in series of plagues that came upon them. God slew every first born of the Egyptians in the land of Egypt and Pharaoh had no choice than to finally bring his arrogance to the foot of the LORD and let the children of Israel go. Nevertheless, Pharaoh pursued them again until he and his forces perished in the Red Sea.

DARKNESS SIGNIFIES SIN
Darkness signifies sin, rebellion the attributes of Satan.
When the light came into existence the darkness disappeared. This darkness had no power over Lord Jesus Christ, who is the light of the world. He came into this world to save sinners. He is the redeemer – redeemer from sin, redeemer from darkness and redeemer from sickness. He offered Himself as a ”Lamb of God” to be crucified on the cross taking upon Him our sin and die on behalf of us. He was buried and God raised Him from the dead on the third day.
”The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).
Lord Jesus Christ lived, with his resurrected body, on this earth for forty more days after His resurrection, and many saw Him and bore witness of His resurrection. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were at the tomb on the third day after crucifixion of Jesus but the angel said to them that Lord Jesus Christ was not in the tomb anymore but He rose from the dead. Jesus, after staying for forty days on this earth, ascended into heaven.
The Father sent Holy Spirit into this world to comfort us, guide us and lead us in His ways. ”But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26).
The Law was given by God through Moses to the children of Israel, but the grace and the truth came from Lord Jesus Christ. Law could not redeem anyone from sin but only pointed their transgression of the law. Their daily sacrifices were a cover for their sin but it was through Lord Jesus Christ that salvation came to all those who believed in Him. ”Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Fathe\; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father\” John 14:9.
We love our Lord, not because we are able to see him physically, but because of our belief in him. In 1 John 4:19 we read that ‘We love him, because he first loved us.’
