The Thousand Years, Defeat of Satan, and Great White Throne (From Revelation Chapter 20:1-15)

As the Lord is righteous judge He will give chance for the devil to be released from the prison at the end of the thousand year reign of Lord Jesus Christ. The devil would then go out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, God and Magog to gather them for battle. Their number would be like that of the sand of the sea. They march up over the broad plain of the earth and surround the camp of saints and the beloved city, which is Jerusalem. However, God sends from heaven down to earth the fire that consumes them.

That is the end of the devil and he will be thrown into the “lake of fire and sulfur” where the beast (Antichrist) and the false prophet were already thrown into it before the devil was thrown. They were thrown into the ‘lake of fire’ when the Lord captured them before He tread the earth like treading the winepress and He came out with blood on His vesture as if it was dipped in it.

The devil, the beast and the false prophet will be in the ‘lake of fire’ suffering torment day and night forever and ever.

Great White Throne

John saw those who refused to accept Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior standing before the “great white throne”. They were all those who did not rise to life in the first resurrection. They were there to be judged. They were all rebels who refused to confess Jesus as Lord, and did not believe that God raised Him from the dead, and therefore, they were part of the second resurrection. On the “great white throne” was seated the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom was all the power to judge was given by the Father.

There was no place found for earth and sky before the Lord and they fled away. No one could hide behind any mountain or valley. All the dead, great and small were standing before the throne and then the books were opened. Then another book, which was the “book of life”, was opened. All the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
The sea vomited the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. Every one of them was judged according to what they had done. The Death and Hades were thrown into the “lake of fire” and this was the second death, which is the “lake of fire”. “The book of life” is very important one, and everyone whose name was not found in the “book of life”, was thrown into the “lake of fire”.

The “lake of fire” is place of fire and sulfur, which keeps burning day and night, where Antichrist and False prophet were thrown first, and then the devil, followed by those whose names were not found in the “book of life”. It is a place where there is torment day and night forever and ever.

Blessed are those who do not end their souls in the “lake of fire”; but be with the Lord forever and ever conformed to His image reigning with Him for thousand years, and to be as priests and Kings for God and Christ.

Now is the time to repent of sins and accept Lord Jesus Christ as personal savior. There is great blessing and peace in His kingdom. There is no sorrow nor pain nor death.
