How the Bible Came to UsThe Holy Bible, which is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, was under attack for many centuries now. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. (John 1:1)

With the passage of time the Word of God is revealed through various men of God; however, it was in the beginning, and it was with God, and the Word as God. His Word rises for the oppression of the poor, for the relief of the needy, and to set them in safety.  They are as pure as silver tried in a furnace of earth seven times.

Bible is a collection of sixty six Books; 39 of the Old Testament and 27 or the New Testament. Forty men wrote the books of the Bible, spanning a period of about 1600 years, from time period of Moses (1500 BC) to the time period of John (AD 97), who wrote the Book of Revelation.

Forty men who wrote the books were Kings, Poets, Shepherds and Philosophers. Even though one writer did not know the other, every scribe was guided and supervised by the Holy Spirit, and that is the reason why the Bible has become so great book in the world.

Not a single book lasted so long as the Bible did, and yet it is so pure and fresh. Repeated listening of the messages from the Bible does not wear us out, but it refreshes our souls and minds.

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:21)

Apostle Paul asked the audience during the early days of proclamation of Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ as to why the rulers have laid great yoke on the people to believe that salvation is by not only faith but man’s efforts as well! It is to say man has to contribute his part in securing salvation. In other words, the efficacy of the blood of Lord Jesus Christ shed for the sins of men fell short of the requirement to provide salvation to mankind, which is not true. The substitutionary death of Lord Jesus Christ was a perfect sacrifice fulfilled in all respects,  the requirements of Old Testament laws.

JESUS SAID “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” What does it mean to be born-again? “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God”. (John 3:3-5)

Jesus Christ died for our sins; he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of the Majesty and He is coming again soon.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10)
