BY HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED

”Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:15-17)

To a question posed by a learned Nicodemus, a man of the Pharisees, a ruler of the Jews, as to how a man can be born again, and was it by entering into the mother’s womb second time that a man is born again, Jesus said ”except a man be born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God”. The Lord said, that which is born of the flesh is of flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (cf. John 3:1-6)

Jesus had a reply to Nicodemus, who asked how these things could be and the answer from Jesus was… ”If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?” (John 3:12)

For such as those who make insulting remarks as to whether the blood of Jesus is detergent to cleanse the sins of a sinner, Apostle Paul has something to say and it is…

”For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18)

”But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14)

It is not the clothes that we wear that need to be cleansed or the physical body that needs to be cleansed to have everlasting life but it the inner man; the soul of man that needs be cleansed and presented as righteous before God, and that is possible only by the cleansing of sins by the power of the precious blood of Lord Jesus Christ. It is the only one way available for salvation.

If a man chooses to be cleansed of his clothes and physical body, detergent or soap is enough, and his body perishes as the LORD said, ”dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return”.

It is true that every man’s physical body will return to dust, but the believer’s soul will be with the Lord forever and ever, while the unbeliever’s soul will eternally suffer when it is cast into the ‘lake of fire’ by God.

Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, is the author and commander of the salvation, and there is no other way whereby anyone could be saved. ”Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”. (Acts 4:12)

CAPTAIN OF SALVATIONBUY BOOK “CAPTAIN OF SALVATION”

“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (Hebrews 2:10)

This book presents sublime theme of man’s redemption from sin and everlasting life. Man rebelled against God by transgressing His command. The only way available for reconciling man with God was by the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ and by His resurrection. Whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life.
