JESUS ABOVE ALL
The supremacy of Jesus Christ is presented in the following verses:
Colossians 1
13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Let us read
John 1
The Word Became Flesh
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2He was with God in the beginning.
3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
These verses show very clearly that Jesus Christ was even before the creation of the World. He was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD.
Let us read
Colossians 1
16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
Now read John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Read also Revelation 1:11-17
11which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea."
12I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
13and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.
14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
16In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
Jesus Christ is the exact representation of God the Father. He is the radiance of God. He is the express image of God. He is the Son of God, and He is the God. Image does not refer to two eyes, one nose, hands, and legs and so on, it represents the holiness and righteousness and the glory of God. Look at the countenance of Jesus Christ as John saw. His countenance was like that of Sun. His head and hair were like wool as white as snow. This represents holiness, righteousness and glory. His feet like fine brass, as if they were burned in a furnace. John feared at His countenance and fell on his feet. Jesus told him, “fear not; I am the first and the last”. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega that is he is the first and the last. All things were created by Him, things that are in heaven, things that are on the earth, and the things that are in the sea. Besides, He created all things visible and invisible. Invisible are angels, thrones and so on. Who has seen wind? Who has held seas in his palm? Here is our Savior Jesus, who created all things; all things were created by none other than Him and Him alone, and every thing that is created is for HIS GLORY.
Jesus Christ humbled Himself and came to this world to save sinners.
Romans 3
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 3
10As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6
23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Hebrews 1
3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven
Jesus bore our sins and died upon the cross of Calvary for our sake, and on behalf of us, so that we may not be punished. And after he had provided purification for our sins, he ascended in to heaven and sat down the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Dear brother/Sister,
Please believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal savior, if you have not done it until now.
God bless you
