THE ONLY GOD

The writer of Hebrews says, Lord Jesus Christ is the express image of God, the Father in heaven. Hebrews 1:3 "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high". Apostle Paul writes that Jesus Christ is the Creator and he is all powerful. Colossians 1:16-17 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." God became man for us and came down to this earth to save you and me. This is the day of salvation.

THE ONE AND ONLY GOD

Isaiah 43:11,12

"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior."

"I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, said the LORD, that I am GOD."

What a daring statement is this! Is it true! The LORD says HE IS GOD and HE is LORD. He also claims that there is no savior. He says, he has saved, and has showed all HIS power and love where there was no strange god among the Israelites.

Yes! Dear brother/Sister,

He has showed to everyone that the GOD of Israelites WAS and IS and WILL be their LORD. How privileged we are that HE WAS, HE IS our GOD and HE WILL be our GOD in future as well.

God sent HIS one Only Son Jesus Christ for our sake and offered Him on the cross of Calvary for our sake. Which gods have done this? Which gods have saved their people, just as our LORD has saved Israelites from the bondage of Pharaoh, and which gods power or magicians could survive before our LORD’s power and miracles that were exhibited through Moses.

How shall we keep quite without worshipping that GOD, our LORD whose SON, Jesus Christ, laid His life for our sake
