Believe in Jesus; you and your household will be saved.
The living God says:
"So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

My Books: Spend some time with God
Jesus Christ was beaten up on the cross of Calvary and was crucified exactly on the fourteenth day of the Pass over festival. The roasting of the Paschal lamb on the fourteenth day denotes the exquisite sufferings of the Lord Jesus, even unto death, the death of the cross. His body as the unleavened bread and blood as the wine is available for us as emblems representing His crucified Christ, who commanded us to do eat and drink His blood until He comes for the second time. In doing so we would proclaim His death.

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” 1 Peter 18:19 Christ suffered in the end of the world (Heb. 9:26), by the hand of the Jews, the whole multitude of them (Luke. 23:18), and for the good of all his spiritual Israel. Not a bone of it must be broken (v. 46), which is expressly said to be fulfilled in Christ (John. 19:33, 36), denoting the unbroken strength of the Lord Jesus. “By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel” Hebrews 11:28 There should be no confusion as to whether Jesus kept the law or not. Jesus came in to this world to keep the law and he kept it. Exodus 12:6-8 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

Joseph's life and the relevance of his life to present day Christian life attracted me to write a few thoughts on how God’s providence works in everybody’s life from the time he is in the womb of his/her mother. God said, in I Peter 2:9 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:" and speaking about himself, the prophecy in Psalms 22:9, which reads as, "But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts" shows us the confidence our Savior Lord Jesus Christ, in the Father in heaven. Great confidence is shown by Psalmist also, who said, in Psalms 71:6 that "By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee". Our creator is Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we trust and depend for all the good in our lives.

After letting the children of Israel go out from Egypt to help them worship their God far away from the place of Egyptian gods, Pharaoh could not sit idle but to harbor the evil thoughts of Satan, once again, and pursued the children of God from behind chasing them to capture them again and bring them back as slaves. The children of Israel saw before them the Red Sea and behind them they saw the mighty forces of Pharaoh following them in the chariots. While the children of Israel, their children, and their cattle moved slowly they saw the chariots of Pharaoh speeding toward them to capture them.

The Red Sea parted when Moses raised his mighty rod of God over the Sea….

While the children of God moved onto the dry land in the midst of the Red Sea the Pharaoh’s chariots and his army was drowned in the Red Sea.

The instructions given to Israelites that they should tell their children about the saving grace of the LORD when He passed by their homes without harming them, but destroyed the first born of their enemies, do hold good for us also in our present day, when we should tell our children about the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, who died upon the cross of Calvary for the remission of our sins. The description of the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ defeating Satan on the cross should be told as clearly as possible, just as Israelites were asked to tell their children that Pharaoh would hardly let them go, but the LORD killed their first born and redeemed them from the bondage of the slavery.

It is delight to see a rainbow in the sky just after a heavy rain. It looks beautiful, attracts our attention, and many times we gaze at it and feel happy that heavy rain receded. The sky looks cool and calm as if it is relieved from a long stressful activity.

Some keep rushing as if they fell behind in their activities. It is so pleasant for everyone that normal activities are resumed. Do we ever remember that it is a reminder for God that his wrath was once upon this earth, and he promised that he would not bring down upon mankind that kind wrath again? Yes, God promised and the rainbow is a reminder for him of that promise that he made.

Today is the day of salvation Jesus saves you
