Believe in Jesus; you and your household will be saved.
The living God says:
"So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

Meditation on Joseph's Life

Leslie M. John M.A.

The success in Joseph’s life journey to reach the final destiny of a very high position on this earth as the second in Egypt next only to Pharaoh, started not with his own efforts but by God’s blessings on him. It all started with his dreams and the interpretations thereof. Dreams in ancient days were taken very seriously and the dreams Joseph dreamed were easily discernable that provoked every one in his family, especially his brothers to hate him.

The first dream he saw was recorded in Genesis 37:7 “For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.” Here, Joseph saw in his dream that when he and his brothers were in the field, his sheaf arose and stood upright while the sheaves of his brothers made obeisance to his sheaf. A quantity of stalks bound together is called, ‘sheaf’. This dream came true as we read in Genesis 42:6; 43:26; 44:14, 19.

This is one indication how every knee will bow to Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:10 reads, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” and in Colossians 1:18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence”. Joseph’s life and his sufferings remind us the sufferings of Lord Jesus Christ for the sake of every one. Jesus is Lord and every knee will bow to him. When Joseph’s brothers heard this dream from him they inferred the meaning of the dream and called him ‘dreamer’ and conspired to harm him.

Joseph’s life and the relevance of his life to present day Christian life attracted me to write a few thoughts on how God’s providence works in everybody’s life from the time he is in the womb of his/her mother. God said, in I Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:” and speaking about himself, the prophecy in Psalms 22:9, which reads as, “But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts” shows us the confidence our Savior Lord Jesus Christ, in the Father in heaven. Great confidence is shown by Psalmist also, who said, in Psalms 71:6 that “By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee”. Our creator is Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we trust and depend for all the good in our lives.

Today is the day of salvation. Please confess your sins to Jesus Christ and be blessed. Receive Salvation and eternal life. Jesus is the Way, the truth, and the life. Holy Bible says God created man, in his own image and named him as Adam and God put him in a very comfortable place called 'the garden of Eden' and gave him a wife, whom Adam named as Eve. God gave Adam and Eve all the freedom except for eating the forbidden fruit, which Eve and Adam ate and brought sin into this world. In order to redeem mankind from their sin God sent his one and only son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sake, was buried, rose from the dead and ascended in to heaven.

Today is the day of salvation Jesus saves you
