"So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

JESUS SAVED BAD WOMAN

Is there any salvation for adulterous women?
Luke 7: 37-44

Pharisees are members of a Jewish sect, who believe in strict observance of rites and ceremonies of the written law and also insist on others practicing them. One such Pharisee invited Jesus to eat with him. Jesus went with him and sat down to eat. There came at that time a woman, who sinned greatly, to the house of the Pharisee, knowing that Jesus was there at the meat. She brought with her an expensive alabaster box of ointment and stood behind him repenting about her sins and crying for forgiveness of her sins. Her cry was so intense that her tears fell upon the feet of Lord Jesus and she washed his feet wiping the tears with the hairs of her head, kissing his feet, and anointing them ointment. The Pharisee wondered within himself saying if only Jesus knew how great this sinner woman was, who was touching him. Jesus, discerned the thoughts and, then speaking to Simon, said he has something to say.

Jesus asked Simon,  if there were two debtors to a creditor, one debtor, who owes the creditor, large amount as loan, and another debtor, who owes the creditor, a small amount, were both forgiven by the creditor, when they had nothing to pay, who of these two debtors would love the creditor most.  Simon answered and said the one whose debts are forgiven most, will love him more.  Lord Jesus appreciated Simon's answer and turned toward the woman and told Simon that from the time Jesus entered the home, Simon did not give water for washing his feet, nor did he kiss his feet, but the woman, shed her tears on his feet and wiped with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Then Jesus said, to her, "Thy sins are forgiven"..."Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace".

Jesus compared the parable creditor and debtors, to himself and the woman who was worshipping Him. She was a great sinner and, forgiving her sins was the great act. Indeed, Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners and not righteous. They that are sick need physician and not healthy person. Jesus has magnanimous heart. He will forgive us of all our sins if we ask Him to do so.

A study of this adulterous woman mentioned in the Bible reveals how loving our Lord Jesus Christ is. There is no other God like Jesus, who died for the sake of sinners, was buried. He rose from the dead on the third day and later ascended into heaven. He is now preparing a place for all the believers in Him. He is the living God. He is pleading with His Father, on behalf of us. We do not deserve place in heaven, nevertheless when we ask God to forgive us all our sins, He will do so gladly and cleanse us from all our sins in the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross of Calvary. Thus, we are made His children. No matter how grave our sins are, here is our God, who forgives all our sins and grants us Salvation free of cost.

ATONEMENT OF SINS

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16
“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him”. Matthew 11:27
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." Romans 5:6
"For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living." Romans 14:9
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"
1 Corinthians 15:3
"For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living." Romans 14:9
Jesus Christ came down to this world, died for our sake bearing our sins upon the cross of Calvary. He was buried, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended in to heaven.

Dear Friend,
Few verses and exhortations
Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary, was buried and was raised on the third day. He ascended in to heaven. He is the high priest in heaven [Heb 4:14-18] “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. John 3:3 They parted his garments, they scourged him, they hurled insults on him and crucified along with two thieves; yet Jesus was so kind on those who crucified them. “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots”. Luke 23:34 Jesus also forgave one of the thieves who was crucified along with him, when the thief made prayer to him to remember him when Jesus comes into His Kingdom. Jesus immediately to him, “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise”. Luke 23:43 But on the third day Jesus rose from the dead and after providing purification for our sins ascended to heaven and is seated at the right of the Majesty. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him".

Dear Brother/Sister, please pray as follows:

O Lord, please forgive me of all my sins. I accept Your Son Jesus Christ as my Personal Savior. I acknowledge Him as my Lord. I pray in Jesus name. Amen"

Yes! If you have prayed the above prayer sincerely you are a born again child of God through His Son Jesus Christ. Please try to know more about Him. God will bless you abundantly.

God bless you
