In the very beginning chapters in the Bible God showed us the sin man committed and the redemption of sinner had. In the 21st verse of third chapter of Genesis we read “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.”
This is the first time God showed that someone had to die for the sins and the blood shedding is necessary. In the New Testament in Hebrews 9:15 we read, “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance”.
When Adam and Eve sinned a lamb had to be slain and its skin was used to cover their nakedness. Without shedding of the blood there is no redemption and therefore, the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ had to die up on the cross for your sake and my sake. He was stripped in order that you and I could be clothed with the righteousness and holiness. Lord Jesus took upon Himself our sins and our shame and therefore the redemption is available. Nevertheless, that redemption from sin is obtainable only through faith in Jesus Christ and assertion by lips that He is the Lord.
Dear friend,
Do you want eternal life? Please confess your sins to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal Savior. Whatever be your sin, and how grave it might be, it is pardonable through the blood of Jesus Christ.
God bless you
